The photography for the Bertil Vallien/Under Ytan exhibition catalogue was commissioned by Spritmuseum and Absolute Art Collection.
For the first part of the book Jonas Lindström followed Bertil Vallien in his studio in Småland, Sweden as well as his home and surroundings. The second part covers some of the art pieces shown in the exhibition, photographed in the workshop of Bertil Vallien.
A short documentary film was also produced for the exhibition with direction by Jonas Lindström.
